
Alivia Brello, Miami University Alivia is a senior at Miami University (OH), with a
double major in Policial Science and Communications and a minor in Women and Gender
Studies. She spent her internship working with the City of Cincinnati Human Resources Department. She is from Columbus, Ohio, and plans to attend law school following her bachelor’s at MU.

Renata Dashevsky, University of Cincinnati Renata is thrilled to join the City of Cincinnati’s Office of Environment and Sustainability as a Seasongood Fellow. In her role, Renata will support projects that advance equitable, sustainable urban design and help implement key actions of the Green Cincinnati Plan. She brings with her a background in Urban Planning and Design from the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program. She is particularly passionate about making beautiful, people-centered places that respond to both environmental challenges and community needs. Outside work, Renata loves being with friends, being out in nature, staying active, exploring new cities, learning languages, and searching for the best local coffee shops. She’s excited to bring her creativity and energy back to her hometown of Cincinnati to help shape a healthier, more resilient future.

Daniela Morales, Miami University Daniela Morales is currently interning in the City Manager’s Office, Placed Based Initiatives Department. She is a fourth-year student at Miami University-Oxford, pursuing double majors in Public Health and Political Studies, with a minor in Latin American Studies. At Miami University, Daniela serves as a Civic Engagement Ambassador for the Center for Student Engagement, Activities, and Leadership, and is the chapter president of Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc. Previously, she interned with the City of Wyoming and the Fair Election Center as a Democracy fellow, advocating for voting rights and mobilization. With a strong passion for civic involvement, Daniela aims to pursue a career in local government or politics to further her dedication to public service.

Hannah Naberhaus, University of Cincinnati Hannah is a native of the Cincinnati area and is currently pursuing her Master of Community Planning at the University of Cincinnati. Having experience working in the office of Councilmember Jeff Cramerding, she brings skills in local government policy, community engagement, and communications. Her interests are increasing the city’s housing supply and making neighborhoods more vibrant.

Ella Pieper, Miami University Ella is a rising senior at Miami University. She is studying public administration with a minor in urban design. She is a university honors student currently working on her senior research thesis. On campus, she works as a student associate for the Department of Political Science, does research for the Center for Public Management and Regional Affairs, and interns for the Government Relations Network. In her free time, she serves as the treasurer for the Miami Association for Public Administration (MAPA). Ella will be working with the Office of Budget and Evaluation in the City of Cincinnati this summer. She looks forward to experiencing the inner workings of local government and learning more about public budgeting for the city she grew up in.

Maggie Traubert, Ohio State University Maggie obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from The Ohio State University. She is currently a rising second year law student at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and her primary interests are local governance, social justice, community development and public policy. This summer, Maggie will be working with the City of Cincinnati Law Department in the Civil Litigation Section and is excited to gain experience with legal research, drafting memorandums, and supporting attorneys in preparing cases for trial.

Lauralee Thatch, University of Cincinnati Lauralee is a third-year Urban Planning student at the University of Cincinnati, with a deep commitment to transportation and housing equity. She interned with the Cincinnati’s City Planning Commission. Their academic and professional work centers on building inclusive, data-informed urban systems that serve diverse communities. Originally from Iowa, they bring a multidisciplinary and people-centered perspective to their planning work and aspire to help solve the housing crisis through equitable, community-based strategies.
