Grant Applications

Overview

The Foundation accepts applications year-round; Trustees review applications three times a year. The Trustees strongly encourage new applicants to contact the Foundation’s program officer, Jamie Markle, prior to submitting a proposal. Application deadlines are: February 15 (for a decision by April 30); June 15 (for a decision by August 30); September 15 (for a decision by November 30).

Current Grant Cycle

Grant applications must be received by the Murray and Agnes Seasongood Good Government Foundation by the dates listed above to be considered for the next board meeting. The Foundation no longer accepts printed or emailed applications. 

The Seasongood Foundation is using a new application portal beginning on July 1, 2025. Registration is required, even for existing grantees. If you used our old application system and have questions, please contact us.

Progress Reports

The Seasongood Foundation requires all grant recipients to provide an interim progress report and a final report. Reminder emails with a copy of the report form attached will be sent to grantees one month before reports are due.
