Purpose: To engage local high school students who are part of the ESOL program in Cincinnati Public Schools to canvas the neighborhoods in low-response census

Purpose: To increase organizational capacity and enhance IRLC’s ability to leverage its corps of volunteer lawyers to deliver innovative, free legal representation to our community, and to amplify IRLC’s response for children seeking humanitarian relief

Purpose: To review Cincinnati homicides since 2011 with a CODIS database DNA match and determine if a wrongful conviction may have occurred

Purpose: To make development equitable across class and race in our neighborhood and city and to professionally print and distribute the Equitable Development Rubric that has been developed through those efforts

Purpose: To support and expand the reach of RISE newspaper, which addresses the lack of enrichment programming and reentry assistance at the county jail level by providing those who are incarcerated with solution-based articles, valuable information, and community resources listings

Purpose: To provide local governments with the resources needed to communicate about the upcoming Census to residents

Purpose: To give two students enrolled in UC’s Journalism Department’s Certificate in Political and Public Affairs Reporting program experience working in a community-based media

Purpose: To open up the National Speaker Forum with Denise Kiernan to individuals and organizations that would benefit from hearing this presentation but would not be able to attend without free or subsidized tickets
